CHARLES SPOFFORD BURNHAM -1836 - 1923; Was a Civil War Veteran Served in 3rd. Vermont Volunteers Lived in Pelham, NH & Waltham, MA Loved cycling, travelled through the White Mts. on his bicycle while Working for the Waltham Watch Factory.


David Wilson Burnham : Bachelor Arts from New England College received the glass negatives for graduation & began visiting the locations of the original photography while working for the Appalachian Mountain Club & Mount Washington Observatory. As a personal project the negatives were high resolution scanned to produce digital negatives then printed as original platinum/palladium prints as they would be produced in the style from Kodak Inc. in the 1890’s. David now lives in Rochester NY the city of Kodak, & visits his home of Madison NH often.
